OUR MISSION

New Life Treatment Center delivers quality, professional treatment services, helping clients to break the power of chemical dependency and to lead healthy lives, free from alcohol and drugs. We provide our clients and their families hope to find freedom from the devastating effects of addiction and mental illness, in a joy-filled community where we live out Christ’s love for all, are accountable to and serve one another; and all clients who truly seek change; regardless of race, ethnicity, religion or creed, gender, disability, sexual orientation or national origin.

OUR PURPOSE

At New Life Treatment Center, we meet you where you’re at, love you for who you are, and help you discover who you were created to be. We are rooted and grounded in the love of Jesus Christ and serve everyone in His name. People of all faiths or of no faith at all are welcome here at New Life. No one will “cram religion down your throat”, but you will hear people talk about their experience and the source of their strength and hope. It’s who we are. As one client said, “God'‘s love is just in the air in this place.” We have as well as a host of dedicated speakers and volunteers who provide motivation, encouragement and spiritual inspiration.

OUR HISTORY

In 1977, a group of concerned individuals from churches in Northwest Iowa met to discuss the need for a faith-based treatment option for those struggling with addiction. And so New Life Treatment Center was born. It found a home in the tiny Southwest Minnesota community of Woodstock. An old school was converted to serve the clients who came. The facility has expanded and updated several times since then. We now have 21 inpatient treatment beds and 7 detox beds.

In addition to our residential program, we have a detox unit in Woodstock. We have outpatient treatment programs in Woodstock, MN and Worthington, MN.  We also provide treatment services to individuals incarcerated at the Prairie Justice Center in Worthington, MN.  Our outpatient programs can accommodate a total of 64 individuals. We also operate Tabitha’s Place, a sober home for women.

 We serve clients from all over Minnesota and the nation.  Our primary service area is Southwest MN, Northwest IA and Southeastern SD.  In the past three years, we have served clients from Illinois, Indiana, Florida, Massachusetts, Utah, California, Washington, Arizona and Colorado.
